As chief lending officer, Chris Miller oversees all lending functions for Texas Methodist Foundation and Wesleyan Impact Partners.
Chris has nearly twenty years of banking and commercial lending experience in Texas, supporting the business growth strategies of owner-operated businesses and commercial real-estate developers. He most recently served as Market Area Executive at Simmons Bank. Prior to Simmons, Chris served as Senior Vice President of Commercial Banking at Southside Bank.
Chris is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University, where he served two terms as trustee after graduation, and the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, where he is a member of the Young Alumni Advisory Council. Chris is Treasurer of Zilker 351 and a former Board President of The Young Men’s Business League and Austin Sunshine Camps.
Laura is a loan funder, closer, and analyst at Texas Methodist Foundation. Prior to her current role, she assisted Texas Methodist Foundation as an administrative assistant for the Operations Department then transitioned into a payroll and benefits administrator. Laura graduated from Wayland Baptist University with a bachelors in business administration and a master of business administration specializing in accounting.
As a senior loan officer, Douglas Cotner plays a leading role in helping clients continue to grow their churches and nonprofit ministries.
Drawing on his extensive commercial real estate expertise, Doug brings over 38 years of experience as a commercial real estate lender, serving most recently as vice president for Texas Capital Bank in Austin and San Antonio, Texas. Doug has experience with a wide range of real estate loans, including land development, office, retail, multifamily, and industrial. He manages all loan cycle phases, including business development, underwriting, approving, closing, and loan servicing.
Doug graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in Finance and Real Estate and has served on the boards of the Capital Area Boy Scouts and Williamson County Habitat for Humanity.
Elisavet is a dedicated loan associate at Texas Methodist Foundation. Prior to TMF, she worked as a bank teller and a tax preparer at JAR Tax Services, where she gained valuable financial experience. She earned a major in finance, possesses a comprehensive understanding of the field, and excels in her responsibilities.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Elisavet communicates with clients to ensure a seamless and welcoming experience. Her commitment to continuous learning, personal growth, and passion for helping individuals and organizations achieve their financial goals make her an invaluable asset to the Texas Methodist Foundation and a trusted partner for those seeking financial guidance.
Daniel is loan officer at the Texas Methodist Foundation, joining in March 2023. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Sam M. Walton School of Business at the University of Arkansas, which he earned in 2016. Previously, he served as the Vice President of Loan Operations at HomeTown Bank in Galveston, Texas, overseeing areas of the credit department. Park began his banking career as a bank examiner and later became a senior bank examiner with the Arkansas State Bank Department. He also worked as a senior internal auditor with Prosperity Bank. With extensive experience in lending and investments, Daniel brings valuable expertise to his role and is known for his professionalism, attention to detail, and strong client relationships.
Brandon Perry is Vice President of Lending at Wesleyan Impact Partners, joining in April 2025.
With nearly two decades of experience as a relationship manager in the banking industry, including key roles at Hancock Whitney, Comerica, and Sterling, Brandon specializes in providing strategies that encompass financing real estate development projects and equipment. He is committed to helping clients achieve financial peace of mind, allowing them to focus on what matters most in their lives.
Brandon earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from Sam Houston State University, underscoring his commitment to professional excellence and fiduciary responsibility.
Paula is the assistant vice president of loans at Texas Methodist Foundation, appointed to that position in 2015. Paula has 30 years of experience in consumer, real estate, and commercial lending. Prior to her appointment at TMF, Paula was senior vice president, national manager for BBVA Compass with responsibility for commercial and industrial, public finance, and global wealth loan documentation and funding control. During her career in commercial banking, she was involved in compliance and training and supervised work teams of 40 or more persons.
Jennifer Stevenson is a loan funder and closer with over 15 years of experience in loan processing and financial operations. With a strong commitment to client satisfaction, she works closely with borrowers and support teams to track, monitor, and process efficient and compliant loan closings.
Prior to TMF, Jennifer served as a loan closer at Southside Bank in Austin, Texas, as well as a loan coordinator at Grandview Bank in Cleburne, Texas. Jennifer also contributes to business development, process improvement, and training, bringing a self-motivated, adaptable mindset and strong communication to every project.
Cheryl's career in nonprofit lending began in 2012 as a loan officer for Heartspring Methodist Foundation. She joined TMF as a loan officer in 2018. With over a decade of experience in nonprofit lending and over 40 years of combined experience in commercial banking and real estate, Cheryl brings a wealth of knowledge to her role. Her extensive background in the financial and real estate industry equips her with the expertise and skills needed to best serve churches as their loan officer both now and in the future.
