Wendolyn serves as vice president of TMF’s Grants Ministry. She is a dynamic leader in serving under-resourced communities and has deep expertise in the measurement of outcomes and transformational change. In addition to her results-driven nonprofit management experience, Wendolyn brings fundraising, grant writing, resource development, coalition building, and advocacy skills to her role. Her experience developing logic models, data collection and analysis to guide strategic direction and decisions will be instrumental in continuing TMF’s trajectory toward resourcing systemic change.
Wendolyn manages TMF’s grant-making ministry which in 2022 funded $2.1 million in grants to 124 churches and other nonprofits. Wendolyn comes to TMF from her most recent position as Outcomes Manager for CitySquare, a nonprofit organization in Dallas offering comprehensive social services that address four key areas related to the persistence of poverty: hunger, health, housing, and hope.
Wendolyn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Bennett College in Greensboro, NC. In addition to CitySquare, she has worked with United Way, Salvation Army in Dallas, National Able Network, and the Jane Addams Hull House Association in Chicago.
Sarah Rich, an experienced professional, serves as the grants associate to the grants ministry at Texas Methodist Foundation. Joining the staff in 2015 through Heartspring Methodist Foundation, Sarah finds fulfillment in her role, as it allows her to assist organizations in positively impacting others. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multidisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with concentrations in physics, math, and business administration, bringing a diverse skill set to her position.
With her multifaceted background and passion for community support, Sarah contributes to the success of the Texas Methodist Foundation and its mission of empowering organizations to make a difference in people's lives.
